is a uniquely designed velcro adjustable belt which
enables two individual lupin heat bags to fit into the
belt comfortably around the lower back and pubic bone
area.
The
heat from the bags can assist during labour to alleviate
discomfort and aching of the lowerback and pubic area
due to the pelvis opening up during childbirth. The
wonderful thing about the heat hug is that you will
not have to hold the heat bags on your body, as the
belt holds them in the most effective position. This
enables a woman in labour to stay focused, calm and
relaxed, and not worry about having to hold the heat

What is a Doula? A Doula
is a non-medically trained support person who provides
continuous emotional, physical and informational support
throughout her pregnancy, labour and after childbirth.
Throughout
my pregnancy, I participated in Gaby’s various
workshops including the Active Birth workshop called,
A journey in childbirth education and actively supporting
a woman in labour. I also attended the ‘4 week
journey’ – a glorious, reflective workshop
of personal growth, just for women!
